A member of the famed Kennedy family, Tatiana Schlossberg, died on Tuesday after a recent disclosure of a uncommon leukemia diagnosis.
Family and Institution Confirm the Sad News
News of her death was confirmed in a online announcement by the Kennedy Presidential Library.
“Our beautiful Tatiana passed away this morning. She will always be in our hearts.”
Details of the Diagnosis
Within a published essay in November, she disclosed that she had been found to have a type of blood cancer with a rare mutation.
Acute myeloid leukemia is a disease that originates in the blood and bone marrow.
The family has requested privacy as they grieve.
